Celebrate Israel parade in NYC this Sunday

Mike Schatzberg invites all Jewish Scouts and Scouters to join with other Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts this Sunday, June 1 in New York City for the Celebrate Israel Parade, serving as the U. S. color guard along Fifth Avenue. The Tzofim (Israeli Scouts) will carry Israeli flags.

All participants are encouraged to arrive at 10:30 a.m. on 5th Avenue between 56th and 57th Street and look for the
large contingent of Scouts. The parade steps off at 11:00 a.m.

All marchers must be in full Scout uniform and, unfortunately, no non-Scouts will be permitted to march along with the Scouts. In addition, no backpacks or fanny packs can be worn. Participants may carry a water bottle only.
