Central Region Chair Dr. Norman Kahn announces an upcoming regional conclave for the purpose of training Jewish Committee Chairs throughout the region. Regional conclaves are held every two years and provide the latest materials distributed by knowledgable Jewish Scouters. This regional conclave is being jointly sponsored by the Miami Valley Council and the Tecumseh Council.
It’s also an opportunity to share fellowship with fellow Scouters and to invite Scouting professionals and charter partner organizations to participate in the day-long sessions that speak to the core of what Jewish Scouting is all about.
The program will be held in the Schiewetz Leadership Training Center of the Cricket Creek Scout Camp, 6444 Frederick Pike Street in Dayton, Ohio on Sunday, April 27. The cost of the program and materials, which includes breakfast and lunch, is $36.00. All meals are kosher.
Hotel rooms are available Friday through Monday at the nearby Residence Inn of North Dayton at the Boy Scout discount rate of $104.99 per night (plus tax). To register for the Central Region Conclave and/or to secure a room, click here.
