        2008 SCOUT SHABBAT

February marked the 98th anniversary of Scouting in the United States.  To help commemorate the founding of Scouting and the twelfth point of the Scout Law ("Reverent"), February 9th was designated as Scout Shabbat.

Council Jewish Committees on Scouting held emblem workshops and hosted services in Temples and Synagogues throughout the United States.  Three Councils in the Boston Area joined together to host the first combined services in over 20 years!
