NORMAN L. SMITH | Norman L. Smith passed away October 20, 2007.
He was an active member of the National Jewish Committee on Scouting and its Scholarship Committee. He was also a member of the the Gulf Stream Council of Florida's executive board and was their Eagle Scout Class of 2006 Honoree of the Year for his lifetime achievements and service to Scouting over 70 plus years. Norm was an Eagle Scout with a Silver Palm and was awarded the Silver Beaver. He served his country in World War II and Korea, receiving the Silver Star, Bronze Star, and three Purple Hearts.
