Eagle Scout Wins Princeton University Award
January 2008
Eagle Scout Adam Racer Schuit was chosen by the Alumni Association of Princeton University to receive its "Princeton Prize in Race Relations" in recognition of his work to organize the first ever "Ten Commandments Hike" held in the Central New Jersey Council. The Prize recognizes high school students for their efforts to improve race relations.
Adam recently was appointed Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 40 in West Windsor, New Jersey and is an active member of the CNJC Jewish Committee on Scouting. He will be attending Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration as a Freshman in the Fall of 2008. Arthur Eldred, the BSA's first Scout to earn the rank of Eagle in 1912, also attended Cornell.
