VIA NEW JERSEY TURNPIKE

Take the New Jersey Turnpike South to Exit 4.  Exit onto Route 73 North.  Go approximately ½ mile and merge onto Route 295 South.  Follow signs to “Walt Whitman Bridge” and “I-76 West & 676” (should be Exit 26).  After merging onto I-76/676 get in left lane and follow signs to I-76 West (Walt Whitman Bridge). Cross Walt Whitman Bridge and stay on I-76 West (now called Schuylkill Expressway).  Take Exit 346A (South Street - exit is on left side of expressway).  Turn left onto South Street and follow directions below for parking and drop-off.

FROM I-95 NORTH of Philadelphia

Take I-95 South to I-676 West (Vine Street Expressway).  Merge onto I-76 East (Schuylkill Expressway).  Get in left lane for Left exit onto South Street (Exit 346A).  Turn Right onto South Street and follow directions below for parking and drop-off.

FROM I-95 SOUTH of Philadelphia

Take I-95 South to I-676 West (Vine Street Expressway).  Merge onto I-76 East (Schuylkill Expressway).  Get in left lane for Left exit onto South Street (Exit 346A).  Turn Right onto South Street and follow directions below for parking and drop-off.

FROM PA TURNPIKE (I-76)

Exit 326 (Schuylkill Expressway) and continue on I-76 to Philadelphia.  After passing 30^th Street exit, get in left lane.  Left Exit onto South Street (Exit 346A).  Turn right onto South Street and follow directions below for parking and drop-off.

FROM PA TURNPIKE - NORTHEAST EXTENSION (I-476)

Continue on I-476 (Blue Route) to I-76 East (Exit 16 - Schuylkill Expressway).  Merge onto I-76 East.  After passing 30^th Street exit, get in left lane.  Left Exit onto South Street (Exit 346A).  Turn right onto South Street and follow directions below for parking and drop-off.

FROM BEN FRANKLIN BRIDGE (South Jersey)

After crossing BF Bridge, get in center lanes and follow signs to I-676 West (To I-76 West - Vine Street Expressway).  After passing 22^nd Street Exit, get in right lane and follow signs to I-76 East (Airport & 30^th Street Station).  Merge onto I-76 and get into left lane.  Take Left Exit onto South Street (Exit 346A).  Turn right onto South Street and follow directions below for parking and drop-off.

FROM GREATER NORTHEAST PHIADELPHIA

Take US 1 (Roosevelt Blvd) South and merge onto I-76 East (Schuylkill Expressway).   Get in left lane for Left exit onto South Street (Exit 346A).  Turn Right onto South Street and follow directions below for parking and drop-off.

DIRECTIONS FOR PARKING AND DROP-OFF

For Self Parking:  Turn left onto Civic Center Blvd (1^st traffic light) and enter garage on right (across from Septa rail line entrance).  Walk out of garage back to South Street.  Turn left on South Street and walk two blocks (South Street becomes Spruce Street.  Houston Hall is on the right side just past Irvine Auditorium (drop off lane with sign for “Perelman Quadrangle”).

Limited Close-in Handicapped Parking is available just past Civic Center Blvd on the right side of the street at the end of Franklin Field.  Lot is marked for “Physical Therapy.”  Handicapped placard must be displayed.

Valet Parking is available at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital one block from Houston Hall.  After exiting onto South Street (becomes Spruce Street), continue to 2^nd traffic light (34^th Street).  Turn left onto 34^th Street and valet drop-off is on the right side.  Walk back to 34^th and Spruce, cross, and turn left. Entrance to Conference is on the right just past Irvine Auditorium sign for “Perelman Quadrangle.” 

 
For Drop-Off and then Parking:  Continue on South Street (passing Franklin Field on right and Penn Museum on left).  South Street becomes Spruce Street at next traffic light.  Continue on Spruce Street.  Entrance to Conference is on the right just past Irvine Auditorium (drop off lane with sign for “Perelman Quadrangle”).  Conference location is ADA accessible from this entrance.  For parking, U-turn and head back to Civic Center Blvd. and follow directions above.
