Northeast Region Jewish Committee on Scouting

Camping With a Judaic Flavor

Plan to join us for the 2009 NJ Kinus Weekends

For over 46 years, Jewish Scouts from New Jersey and the Northeast have enjoyed a weekend of Scouting with a Jewish flavor. In 2009, the New Jersey Kinus Committee will once again host two weekend events. Camperships to both events were available (contact chair Daniel Chazin for information)

Girl Scouts are cordially invited to join us: Daisies, Brownies and Juniors are invited to the Cub Scout Kinus, while Cadets and Seniors are invited to the Boy Scout Kinus.

We are known for our excellent and varied kosher meals served in the open-air dining hall. Available housing included tent sites (bring your own tents), leantos and shared cabins. Check out our last year activities.

Cub Scout Kinus - May 15 - 17, 2009, Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco, Blairstown, NJ

Cub Scouts and their families will enjoy a weekend of Scouting and Jewish events while enjoying delicious (and strictly Kosher) meals at beautiful Camp No-BeBo-Sco in Blairstown, NJ (off exit 12 of Route I-80). Cabins, leantos and tents will be filled with happy Cub Scouts and their families.

Boy Scout Kinus - May 22 - 25, 2009, Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco, Blairstown, NJ

Boy Scouts and their families will enjoy Memorial Day weekend at this beautiful camp. We will eat delicious Kosher food and have lots of fun activities combining Scouting skills with Judaism. We will camp in tents, leantos and cabins. Sports, learning about the Ner Tamid and Etz Chaim awards and the night hikes will be just spectacular. Did I mention the great food?
