2026 Northeast Region Jewish Committee on Scouting Annual

Conference

Headquarters Camp, Ten Mile River Scout Camps, Narrowsburg, NY

The conference’s goal is to help you provide a vibrant and exciting program for our Jewish Scouts. Open to participants from across the U.S.  Tentative breakout sessions on: Jewish activities for Troops, teaching leadership skills, history of Jewish Scouting in N.Y.C. and Ten Mile River Scout Camps, JCOS High Adventure Activities, others. Kosher Food is included in the conference fee. Friday night & Saturday night accommodations are available for those who desire to stay overnight. Participants can tour the extensive Ten Mile River Scout Museum with Jewish Scouting memorabilia exhibits. Mr. Ricky Mason, Chair-Elect of Scouting America’s National Executive Board, will be the keynote speaker. FLYER

Open to ALL and featuring:  Both Cub Scout & Scouts BSA Programming.  Learning about Judaism and Jewish Culture. Lunch with a Birthday Dessert.  Stations such as: American Cultures MB (for Scouts BSA), Activities related to Cub Scout Duty to God Adventures, Pikuach Nefesh (Safeguarding Life) & First Aid, Tzedakah (Charity) & Service Project.  FLYER

B’yachad – The Great Jewish Scout Camporee of 2026


Camp Aquehonga, Ten Mile River Camps, Narrowsburg, NY

The best of Jewish Scouting in a full summer camp setting with aquatics, conservation, handicrafts, scoutcraft, shooting sports and archery. Jewish themes, exhibits, activities, Kosher food. Leadership, adventure, entertainment, friendship, Jewish Emblems. Open to Scouts aged 11-18. Scouts leave with pride for their heritage, a patch for completing activities, possible merit badges, Jewish emblems and 100th anniversary memorabilia. FLYER
