Description
The 2012 (5772) Scout Shabbat patch features a colorful white, green and yellow background with the words “L’Dor v’Dor,” which means “From generation to generation.” It features the NJCOS logo, a bridge symbolizing the continuing cycle of Jewish faith and practice from one Scouting generation to the next as well as a representation of a Ner Tamid (“eternal light”) that depicts the constancy of Judaism and the blessing of the Almighty’s protection of the Jewish people.
